Welcome to the Leek Blues and Americana Festival
1st to 5th October 2025Five days of outstanding live music, here in the beautiful market town of Leek, the Queen of the Staffordshire Moorlands…
This site is the home to all the key information you’ll need for the Festival: the timetable, the venues, the sponsors and of course the artists and other events.
This will be the 12th annual Festival, which has been an established feature of the town’s social calendar since 2012.

THIS YEARS ARTISTS
We’ve hosted a range of outstanding acts in recent years including: south London Blues rockers Nine Below Zero; Roots-infused Americana band Fine Lines; British blues giants Climax Blues Band; and award winning country star Kezia Gill.
It's not just music. We’ve had supporting features as varied as an early screening of the Aretha Franklin documentary Amazing Grace; a blues-themed photographic exhibition entitled “Just South of Memphis” (by music photographer Karen McBride); and a hilarious show by music YouTuber Andy Edwards called “Led Zeppelin & Me”.
Ticketed GIGS
The Festival sticks to the principle of keeping most of our shows free and supporting our local hospitality venues and businesses. The exception is high prestige events, which are ticketed and hosted by our wonderful partners the Foxlowe Arts Centre.

Richard Staines (guitars and vocals), Satinder Grewal (tabla) and Jonathan Browing (harmonica and voice). A Mississippi blues band with a difference. It’s fused with Indian music and whatever else goes.
